workshops that might be of interest:
"Teaching Tips for Librarians", 10th March, Sheffield.

Cost - £50 (£15 for students).
A half day, hands-on workshop covering some of the basic teaching
mechanics such as Learning Objectives; Lesson Plans; Assessment;
Evaluation and some related issues. Includes a copy of the the "Mini
Book of Teaching Tips for Librarians" (ISBN 978-1-911500-00-1, normally
£9.95).
"Creative Teaching Double Bill", 5th May, Manchester.

Cost - £95 one workshop, £145 both (full day includes lunch).
This is a combination of "Picture This! Using the ‘Writing Essays by
Pictures’ approach to teaching academic practice" and 'Making
(non-digital) educational games'. Both hands-on workshops, half a day
each - come to one or both! "Writing Essays by Pictures" workshop
includes a copy of the book to take away.
"Making Educational Escape Rooms", 13th April, Huddersfield.

Cost - £95 (students £45).
This is a full day, hands-on workshop for people interested in starting
to make educational escape room style activities. All attendees will
also receive a workbook (60+ pages) on creating educational escape rooms
to take away with them, including the process outlined on the day.
