Date: Monday 24 April 2017, 10am - 4.30pm
Venue: Centre for Mathematical Sciences, University of Cambridge
Join us at the University of Cambridge for this free full-day event for Y12 girls, designed to give a stimulating introduction to advanced mathematical problem-solving, and encourage more girls to consider studying Mathematics at university.
The event will support students to develop their mathematical thinking and confidence in tackling challenging problems. The day will include morning and afternoon interactive problem-solving workshops, delivered by NRICH and Underground Mathematics, and talks giving an accessible insight into some of the exciting areas of mathematics encountered at university.

The day will also include a parallel information and CPD opportunity for accompanying teachers, exploring the free online A-level Mathematics and STEP preparation resources offered by the University of Cambridge.
Thanks to funding from the University of Cambridge Widening Participation Project Fund, we have a limited number of small grants available to help contribute to travel costs and/or teacher cover. (Please note only non-selective state schools/colleges/academies are eligible to apply for these grants).
