Good morning,
Yes, we received one of these with no explanation. We were also concerned that it wasn't genuine!

Subject: [lis-e-resources] ProQuest audit letters
Hi all,
Has anyone else received communications from ProQuest demanding that you say whether or not you will be paying an amount for an unnamed resource in 18 months' time? We have had one of these - in the post, not by email, or I must confess I'd have deleted it immediately - and after I'd questioned whether or not it was genuine, which it apparently is, I am having a really hard time trying to impress upon ProQuest how tricky this might be. I also have to confirm if the invoice for the unnamed resource is outstanding as of 31 December 2016. Given the fact that the invoice is dated 1 August 2018, there's a good chance it's outstanding...
I'm told that they send out about 100 of these letters every year to a random sample of customers, so I'd be interested to know if anyone else has come across this?
Thanks!
Sarah
