Dear Quentin,
If you use SPM12, you can directly provide a NIfTI image as first
argument of spm_render:
spm_render(spm_select(1,'image'))
All the non-NaN values from the image will be used for display so if you
only want to display a subset of voxels (eg after thresholding), you
will have to add NaN values to your input image first (or modify line
114 of spm_render accordingly).
