The SAgE Newcastle-Singapore Studentships (NSS) Scheme 2017- 18 is now open for applications
Closing date: 9th February 2017 (Midnight)
The SAgE Faculty in partnership with NUS (National University Singapore), NTU (Nanyang Technological University Singapore) and A*Star Singapore, are offering 5 four-year PhD scholarships to a value of £20,000 per year (£80,000 in total).
The scholarship award covers tuition fees and a stipend (at the UK RCUK rate) plus a return trip to Singapore every year.
Scholarships are open to UK/EU and international applicants in any research area of the SAgE Faculty, however the following areas of research are covered by the majority of the project topics because of their importance to Singapore:
* Ageing and Digital Technologies
* Computing Science, especially Cyber Security and Visualisation
* Sustainability, including Energy and Water
* Electrical Power
* Marine Science and Technology
