The 'bigqlr' project website contains a range of resources for researchers analysing large volumes of qualitative data, and in particular those working across existing data from several qualitative longitudinal studies.
We invite you to subscribe to our project website at http://bigqlr.ncrm.ac.uk/ to receive the latest updates. There you will find:
* Engaging guest posts from researchers working on qualitative and longitudinal secondary data analysis projects internationally.
* The opportunity to write for us - our research team welcome suggestions for blog posts from other researchers in the bigqlr field and would love to hear from you if you have an idea or a project that you would like to share.
* Informative research team blogs about our research process, activities and events.
* A growing list of reading and resources on 'scaling up' qualitative data analysis.
The 'Working Across Qualitative Longitudinal Studies: A feasibility study looking at care and intimacy' is a three year ESRC National Centre for Research Methods project that aims to extend and develop secondary analytic practice in working with complex longitudinal data. It is working with existing data from empirical projects conducted under the ESRC funded Timescapes initiative<http://www.timescapes.leeds.ac.uk/>. The research team includes Professor Rosalind Edwards and Dr Susie Weller from the University of Southampton and Dr Emma Davidson and Professor Lynn Jamieson from the University of Edinburgh.
Apologies for cross-posting.
