When I was last made redundant I was coached to change my cv style from chronological, seen as more suitable to a young person with few life experiences, to functional.
For my work these headings are:
Profile
Accreditation
Training
Presenting
Published
Technical
Operational
Management
Each gets a paragraph highlighting achievements. And all on page 1 and aimed at grabbing the reader's attention.
Page 2 is the traditional info;
Career summary
Education
Professional qualifications
Prof membership
Appointments
There is no page 3!
This may not suit everyone but worth consideration.
Regards
Helen

Subject: [OCC-HEALTH] cv format
Hi can anyone help
It's ages since i updated my CV and it looks a little dated.
I'm reluctant to pay a company to do it for me so I wondered if anyone has any good examples of how they should be set out these days.
Kind regards
