Hi Lindsey, I'm sorry, I don't, but interesting you ask today as I am just looking for evidence /Guidance on the use of interpreters. Some people where English is not their fist language have enough English to fulfill their role but outside of this don't have a clear enough understanding of OH processes and informed consent. Some bring a work colleague with them to act as interpreter but my concern is that they will often have a long conversation following a question which results in a single word answer. I feel there could be an element of advocacy on the part of the friend/colleague.
Ideally I'd like the company to employ the services of a trained interpreter but I really need some evidence. I have a little already and I'll keep looking but if anyone can provide a steer it would be much appreciated.
