Please spread the word about this rare entry-level role suitable for an aspirant information professional in a tech and media company.
I'm looking for a Content Information Assistant to help us manage internal enquiries and publications data. You will need to be good with spreadsheets, able to concentrate on in-depth data management tasks and have an interest in business publishing and taxonomies.
If the successful candidate is seeking experience before applying for a qualification in library in information studies, full support and training will be given and you will have plenty of opportunities to learn about subscriptions, licensing, copyright and metadata.
You'd be working in a lively tech start-up near London's Brick Lane. The atmosphere is creative but highly supportive. You'll be working with experts on software engineering, data science, machine learning and media intelligence.
Although the job is advertised as full time, I would consider applicants from PT LIS students able to work 4 days a week. The key is that you're keen on immersing yourself in the role and learning about the work we do.
Salary will depend on experience, but is comparative with other London-based information assistant roles.
