Subject: call for project proposals for people of African descent deadline 20 February 2017
Date: 5 January 2017 at 12:50:03 GMT
In 2017, the Anti-Racial Discrimination Section of OHCHR intends to support civil society organizations, working on issues related to people of African descent. For this purpose, the Section invites civil society organizations to submit project proposals, focusing on the theme of the International Decade for People of African Descent “People of African descent: recognition, justice and development”, in line with General Assembly resolution 69/16. The duration of the proposed project cannot exceed 12 months. The maximum amount requested from OHCHR for the implementation of this project cannot exceed 10,000 USD. The project proposal must not exceed 10 pages (attachments do not count).
For this purpose, please fill in duly all the sections of the attached application form (include also required attachments such as NGO’s registration certificate, CVs etc.) and budget excel sheet, and send the complete application package to Ms. Tania Naydenova ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) not later than 20 February 2017. Incomplete and late applications, or applications not in line with the guidelines, will not be reviewed.
The selected applicant(s) will be notified by 10 March 2017. Please note that due to the number of applications, only short-listed applicants will be notified.
Feel free to forward this information to other civil society organizations that may wish to apply.
Kind regards,
Tania
