The NIHR Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King’s College London is seeking two postdoctoral statistical genetic researchers to implement translational research in mental health. The researchers will use their skills in multi-omic modelling for disease prognosis and prediction, implement polygenic risk scores for prognostic modelling and work with electronic health record data.
The post requires flexible and dynamic postgraduates trained in statistical genetics, with previous experience working on large scale data analysis from clinical studies. The postholders will interact with clinical and academic researchers, and join the Statistical Genetics Unit, a thriving research group, with over 20 members focused on methodology development and application in statistical genetics.
This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years.
This is a Full-time post. Part-time work will also be considered.
The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £32,958 to £39,324 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.

The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation and a panel interview.
Interviews are scheduled to be held the week commencing: 6 March 2017.
