Dear BHUGs
Following Eds suggestion (see below) I have looked at this and think it might fit the purpose.
Pros
Its free
We can share documents and do fancy polls etc
Cons
Its not so much an email list as a Forum, so you will get emails but then have to access the forum to see them in full and respond (if I have understood it right). Given the level of traffic I expect this to have I don't think that would be a major issue
You would also have to register to be able to use the list.
So if anyone from the former Bhug list has an opinion (either way) please speak now or for ever hold your peace.
Barring swarms of protest/alternative suggestions I will set this up early in the New Year.
And in case any of you are off early (BHUGS or not) have a good festive season
best wishes

Hi Nick,
I recommend the Knowledge Hub for BHUG. It's been set up specifically for local government and public sector agencies, and has a huge number of groups. The support team there are also very helpful. As far as I know, unless you want to make your discussions very private, it's free to set up a group.
Details at www.khub.net - have a look at the 'Services' and 'Showcase' sections.
Hope that helps
Ed
