HI Paul,
I would suggest Bancroft and Fevre's book Dead White Men. It is written as a novel so makes a good read :)

Does anyone know of any accessible introductory books about social policy, sociology, or politics that are aimed at bright 12/13/14 year olds? Is there such a thing? ideally not so much a school text book as something to grab their attention and excite them.
Thanks. My grandchildren may or may not be grateful!
