GSM London are seeking to appoint external examiners for our LLM. The College would prefer individuals with experience of external examining to apply for the role, but we may consider applicants without previous experience.

Your role as an External Examiner will help to ensure

•     standards are appropriate by reference to published national subject benchmarks, the National Qualifications Framework and the University’s programme and module specifications

•     the assessment process measures student achievement against the intended learning outcomes

•     the assessment process is in line with Plymouth  University’s Assessment Policy 2014-20

•     our awards are comparable in standard to awards conferred by other UK HE institutions

•     the assessment process is operated fairly and equitably and in accordance with Plymouth University Regulations.



All appointments are subject to meeting the Plymouth University’s criteria for the appointment of external examiners.
