One of the aims of our programme is to bring scientists from the mathematical and computational sciences into translational research. The NIHR Maudsley Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) is offering fully funded 4-year PhD studentships to applicants with backgrounds in neuroscience, psychology, biological science, social science, physical science, mathematics or statistics.
These awards are funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) through the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) and the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, King’s College London (KCL).
A wide range of PhD projects are offered through 15 NIHR Maudsley BRC research themes, with opportunities for applicants from diverse academic disciplines.
