Hi Rosa
We can analyse your sample (FOC) - could you please supply details of where you are so we can determine what information you need to supply with the sample. Assuming the sample is of human origin for diagnostic purposes - different permits are required for importing samples of animal origin into New Zealand. I will get back to you about research opportunities.
Cheers
Trevor

Greeting from New Zealand
We are developing plasma protein markers for Acute and Chronic Pancreatitis using peptide MRM's and TOF of intact proteins - Des Leu Albumin and Des Gln Beta Fibrinogen.
Please see attached poster for further information.
If would like us to run a sample or if you are involved in a research project please get back to me.
Kind regards

Subject: chronic pancreatitis markers
Dear All
A patient who was previously told have chronic pancreatitis has been taken off Creon in view of normal pancreas on CT and normal faecal elastase. Patient insists to go back to Creon as controls his fatty smelly stools. Please can you kindly advise what other test besides faecal elastase can help to confirm/exclude chronic pancreatitis – including if possible sensitivity and specificity. Also if you can share your knowledge on the limitations pitfalls of faecal elastase would be much appreciated.
Regards
Rosa
