Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position to work in Prof.
Huirong Yan's group at Institut for Physics & Astronomy of the University
of Potsdam. The appointment will be for three years with a possible
extension upon successful performance. This position is made available due
to the joint position that Prof. Huirong Yan holds at University of Potsdam
and DESY. PhD in Physics or astronomy is required. The Institut for
Physics & Astronomy in Uni Potsdam supports a broad range of research in
observational and theoretical astrophysics. It has close links with the
neighboring Leibniz-Institute fur Astrophysik (AIP) and Albert Einstein
Institute in addition to DESY (Deutsche Elektronen-Synchrotron), which is
one of the world's leading research centres for particle and astroparticle
physics. Applicants with expertise on high energy, plasma astrophysics,
computational astrophysics are particularly encouraged to apply.
