"There were so many posters and they were so good."
This was the opinion of the entire biomagnetism community (and certainly the awards committee).
Rewarding younger individuals for their excellence in biomagnetism research as evidenced by their posters (and poster presentations), we were able to award 6 poster prizes (thanks to the generosity of the Biomag 2016 Local Organizing Committee).
The recipients are (in no particular order):
Sanghjun Lim, Korea University of Science and Technology, Korea
Nicole van Klink, UMC Utrecht, The Netherlands
Vincent Trauchessec, University Paris Saclay, France
Annette Ye, Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada
Svenja Espenhahn, University College London, UK
Seokyun Ryun, Seoul National University, Korea
Again, my thanks are extended to a diligent awards committee. I would also say there was considerable deliberation - there were really many excellent posters.
We look forward to welcoming you at Biomag 2018 (www.biomag2018.org). Please consider applying for a YIA and of course please keep on submitting outstanding abstracts/talks/posters.
Respectfully submitted,
Prof. Tim Roberts
