Hi Jon,
As promised, some Gault Clay from Folkestone is on its way to you. It has been used in a schools practical that I have described in this blog:
http://www.nhm.ac.uk/natureplus/blogs/micropalaeo/2013/09/17/microfossils-for-schools
If you need further details about the collection site or stratigraphy then Adrian Rundle should be able to provide them for you.
All the best,
Giles

Subject: Micropalaeontological residues wanted
Dear All,
As part of the Market Hall Museum (Warwick) refurbishment we're having a nice new Micrarium 'scope, but to my embarrassment I've got no expendable fossiliferous residues for visitors to look at. I'm after dregs of (ideally) Jurassic marine and/or Quaternary freshwater sieved residues, with the usual suspects - shelly microfossils, fish teeth etc. Has anyone anything going spare? I'd only need small amounts and I'm really not fussy about geological age, as long as it's fossiliferous.
With thanks,
Jon Radley
