True enough about the Dylan lines, David. But the drift of them is not a critique of 'Wahhabi' (or Salafi) ideology nor, obviously, about the present slaughter of Yemenis, it's surely rather that these are rich Arabs. Why not be scornful about rich Americans buying up London prime estate?
Still my point was only semi-serious, referring back to all the foregoing negative appraisal of Dylan and the idea that it's pretty easy to find some tarnished element in any artist.
Your sympathy for the predicament for the Yemenis, on the other strand on this thread, doesn't seem to be so evident as regards the citizens of Aleppo under Russian bombardment...?
