A professional body is recruiting for an Intranet Content Management Assistant to support the Content Manager as part of a transformed team structure.
The Intranet Content Management Assistant will support the delivery of information and corporate communications to staff through the Intranet platform. This will involve maintaining a policy for appropriate content and news, assisting departments with the creation and maintenance of internally generated knowledge resources, and assisting with the development of the intranet system.
Day to day this job will involve working with the Content Manager to plan and deliver effective internal communication and engagement plans. You will regularly edit and proofread user generated content and work with key stakeholders to ensure the intranet is clear and audience focused. Additionally you will source images relating to written content, assist with the creation and monitoring of content analytics, and perform administrative SharePoint tasks to ensure content is appropriately accessed and presented.
This job would be a great opportunity for a newly qualified information professional who is looking to put their learning into practice in a professional setting, however a qualification is not essential and other backgrounds will be considered.
Excellent spelling and grammar, as well as strong editing and proofreading skills are essential requirements, while some experience of internal communications or content creation/editing would be highly desirable, as would some experience of SharePoint. This job would suit somebody who is quality and customer service focused, a strong communicator, with good problem solving and team working abilities.
Salary: £25,500-£28,300
