Dear Rich,
Thanks for drawing the attention to „A Working Men’s club in Sheffield“ / „Ein Arbeiterclub in Sheffield“ by Peter Nestler, which is a great film.
The film was shown a few times in the UK, and twice in Sheffield in 2012 at part of a retrospective organised by the Goethe-Institut, once without Peter Nestler and once with him attending in 2013, as part of a reprise 2013

The film is available on the BFI DVD “Role Out the Brarrel”, a compilation of pub and drinking life in Britain.

For screenings the film is available from the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin.
For Germanists the films that Nestler made in Germany may also be of interest. Many of his film are available on DVD from Absolute Medien, but without subtitles.
