Am reading 'yet more comic and curious verse' Penguin 1959
under index of first lines mentions
'Said a maid 'I will marry for filthy lucre'
see page 323 which does not show it
perhaps later edition corrects this??
anybody got an idea who wrote it???
google lets me down
cheers Patrick old and cross
