Analytics Developer (SQL, Python, Analytics, GIS)
You will work within an innovative team of systems developers (.Net, SQL), mobile app developers (Xamarin, Android..), GIS and data analysts (Esri and open source GIS, Tableau, Python, R), and Product Owners and Project Managers.
You will have the opportunity to work on projects for clients in the UK and Ireland in a range of applications areas but including planning, transportation, environment, and use spatial/map data plus various tabular data sources and streams, including mobile network data.
- Strong SQL skills - for SQL Server (including SSAS)
- Python - for task automation (or the willingness to learn)
Important skills (two or more of below):
- GIS skills (Esri ArcGIS Server, or open source)
- Use of Tableau or similar software
- Exposure to R and statistical and analytical approaches.
Many systems have GIS elements (mapping technologies including Esri JS/HTML5 API, OpenLayers and related, Python, Google Maps API).
