Dear All,
Does anyone have any experience of employing an apprentice in their library? We are hoping to be in a position to employ an apprentice very soon, and would like to know if other Trusts have tried it. Was it successful? What course did they follow? (apparently the Level 2 certificate in Libraries, Archives and Information Services will no longer be available from the end of this year). Did they stay on or move elsewhere after their apprenticeship ended?
Any comments, advice, thoughts etc would be much appreciated.
