Dear members,
There is a growing trend for heritage institutions to use Flickr to provide digital access to visual/photographic collections and to utilise the platform for harvesting User Generated Content (UGC).
This is something that Hackney Archives and Museum will be embarking on, but we are a small team with no experience of using Flickr, and its particular value of web2/UGC.
Are there any individuals or organisation that are experienced in this field and willing to share this with us their knowledge through as hands on training, as this is something I feel would be useful for the team as we start to publish images on Flickr from autumn 2016. It would be possible to reimburse for travel and time costs, should the offer provided was agreeable to our needs.
Please contact me directly.
Kind regards
Tahlia Coombs
