Hi Candace,
I've been following your post on "Xerte, Scorm and grade centre" with interest as we have a Xerte server at Abertay. Could I ask if you had any problems upgrading to v3.2? Our developer upgraded from v.2.1 with a working LDAP authentication to v.3.2 but wasn't able to login. He's tried various things from the Xerte forum but still hasn't got v.3.2 working properly.
Grateful for any insight on your upgrade process.
Kind regards,
Alison

Subject: Re: Xerte, SCORM and the Grade Centre
Just to follow up on this, I've tested Xerte v3.3 SCORM 1.2 with our Blackboard install, but it's still not pushing a score through to the Grade Centre. This looks like it's probably an idiosyncrasy with our system.
The only combination I found that seemed to work consistently was SCORM 2004 (minimum tracking, last pass) with the following settings:
Allow unlimited attempts
Compatibility settings: Raw Score Can Act as Scaled Score; Roll-up At SCO Unload; Satisfaction causes completion When SCO is completed, display score in Grade Center: Grade of Last SCORM Attempt
AND the user (i.e. Student) has to use IE. (Which is unfortunate because IE seems to have a couple problems with Xerte LOs...)
We'll keep on working on it!
