Hi,
I'm continuing with setting up our new DPM disk using the Puppet
modules. The new disk node is running and is registered in the hrad
node and show up correctly in dpm-qryconf. /var/log/dpm/log on the
head node shows incoming requests.
Doing a `tree` of the disk mount shows:
/disk
└── f31
├── atlas
│ ├── 2016-07-21
│ └── 2016-07-22
├── biomed
│ └── 2016-07-21
└── dteam
├── 2016-07-21
└── 2016-07-22
so the directories are there but no files are being created. Trying to
track this down, I looked in /var/log/dpm-gsiftp/gridftp.log on the
disk node and I see:

It seems that the disk node it trying to access a MySQL database. It
was my understanding that in the DPM system, only the head node would
need access to the DPM database. Is this a change in newer versions of
DPM or do I have some misconfiguration? Does anyone have any
suggestions about how to start tracking this down?
Cheers,
Matt
