*** apologies for cross-posting ***

I’m passing on some information about the latest acquisition from EDP Sciences which I hope will be of interest.

EDP have recently taken over the publication of the Regenerative Medicine Research, a fully open access journal publishing research relating to both the fundamental and practical aspects of regenerative medicine, with a particular emphasis on translational research. The journal will use the EDP Liberty APC model for article processing charges. The journal is open for submissions, and publication of articles will begin in the second semester of 2016. The website is now live at http://www.regenmedres-journal.org.

Full details in the Press Release below or online at http://bit.ly/29aGQpM; do get in touch with me, or with Claus Roll at EDP Sciences (contact info given at the end) if you need any more information.

Kind Regards
Charlotte

EDP Sciences now publishing Regenerative Medicine Research

EDP Sciences has announced that is now publishing the fully Open Access journal, Regenerative Medicine Research. EDP officially took over publication of the journal during spring 2016. The first issue published by EDP Sciences will be opened in the second semester of 2016, publishing the articles newly submitted and accepted since the journal transfer.

Regenerative Medicine Research is a peer reviewed international open access journal that publishes research relating to both the fundamental and practical aspects of regenerative medicine, with a particular emphasis on translational research. It will use EDP’s Liberty APC model for article processing charges, where authors can choose their own fair price to publish a paper in Open Access including an amount of 0€.

“Over the past 20 years, significant progress has been made in genetics, developmental biology, stem cell biology, and tissue engineering, all of which have increased our understanding of regenerative medicine”, commented Editor-in-Chief, Y. James Kang, Sichuan University, China and University of Louisville, USA. “We are delighted to be working with EDP Sciences as the publisher to take Regenerative Medicine Research forward, we believe with their strong track record in open access publishing, they have the ability to improve our impact and reach in an international market”

Regenerative Medicine Research will cover topics including:
Biomaterials (including stem cells, engineered tissues, nanotech inventions etc)
Molecular and cellular biology of regenerative medicine
Pharmacology and pharmaceutics for regenerative medicine
Fundamental research and medical implementation of regenerative medicine; Animal models of regenerative medicine
Genomic understanding and prediction for the outcome of regenerative medicine
