As Fortran presently stands, UNITLESS and RADIAN are all it cares about.
While one can construct all interesting units for physical science and
engineering problems from the seven fundamental SI units, they wouldn't
be useful for, say, finance or safety analysis. They would also
increase the scope of the proposal, which vendors already argue is "too
hard to consider doing it."
