Critical consideration is that iOS devices do not support NFC/RFID. This
cuts out a significant chunk of your visitors.
That said, Apple's developer conference starts today - it's possible they
may open up access to the NFC chip. We'll see.
QR codes are 'unattractive' but most of the criticism I think is related to
what they lead to rather than them being poor per se!
Disclaimer: my company does sell a QR code scanner for iOS and Android so
I'm inevitably somewhat biased ;-)
