One Dance Uk are recruiting two programmers for the D.A.D. programme, one based in London and one based in the North.
The London post focuses on International Partnerships and is a Maternity cover contract:
One Dance UK seeks an enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated Programmer to cover maternity leave for 6 months managing a diverse range of initiatives in London and surrounding areas, and in coordination with regional and international programmers and/or partners.
Reporting to the DAD consultant, you will be responsible for planning and executing events, including the annual Trailblazers Professional Development Fellowship, the biennial Bloom National festival, the biennial International conference – Re:generations. You will also be responsible for developing partnerships and coordinating activities in collaboration with relevant personnel, which will contribute to the overall vision of One Dance UK and effective integration and delivery of its diverse programme.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about dance with a strong track record of project/event management in the arts; excellent communication skills, a wide network of contacts nationally and internationally and experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds. This role includes some evening and weekend work particularly relating to events. Previous experience of marketing and fundraising from trusts, corporate and individual sources would be an advantage. A knowledge of the current status of the wider dance sector in the UK in relation to other public and corporate sectors and global diasporas which may relate to One Dance UK activity is essential.

Midlands/ The North
One Dance UK seeks an enthusiastic, creative and self-motivated Programmer to manage a diverse range of initiatives in the Midlands and North regions and surrounding areas in coordination with regional programmers and/or partners.
