Dear all,
For those who will be in the Oxford area on Thursday the 2nd of June, we
are hosting what may well be Britain's first Geography Café or Café
Géographique at the Oxford Wine Café, South Parade, Summertown. This is
an event at which, for the price of a drink, anyone can come, listen and
discuss the latest ideas in geography.
We have two speakers, Professor Béatrice Collignon (Michel Montaigne
University, Bordeaux) and Michael Dangerfield (University of Oxford), who
will lead the discussion of the question 'Why go into the field?'
The poster for the event is here:

The event will start at 6pm. All are welcome within the capacity of the
venue, no need to register or book.
Best wishes,
Rory.
