Hi Dominic,
I'm not sure about the blog, but if you are interested in the application of data analysis in sport and want ideas for working with students etc. there will be lots of ideas on the MathSport International website at http://www.mathsportinternational.com/ The link to previous conferences has proceedings with papers in etc. available for free from there. There are links to other useful resources and websites too. Another new useful website for sport is http://orinsports.com/
Best wishes with your enquiry re the blog.

Subject: Tour de France data analysis
Hello Allstat,
I was wondering if someone could help us to find a blog post created by a statistician and cycling enthusiast who had compiled some interesting plots of data from the Tour, the focus was on doping.
This is out of general interest with an eye to producing an educational resource on communicating complicated sport(s) data to children.
If memory serves this was not on a news channel and was not a syndicated article or from any Journal, it was from a statistician's personal blog so it is proving hard to find again. It is always possible it has been taken down or that it has been remembered wrong.
The email is [log in to unmask]
Thank you
