For the record
The reason why the CE was in state GlueCEStateStatus: UNDEFINED turned out to be that the queues (or partitions in slurm speak) were set with MaxTime=inifinte (this is the wall clock time). When the ce info-dynamic-slurm script was run during yaim it came across this and had an Exception. With the wallclock time set to a sensible value, MaxTime=16000, the info-dynamic-slurm script ran without problems and GlueCEStateStatus was set to Production.
ops tests that should work now work.

I'm not sure the logs would be very informative, but the reason is that you're publishing
GlueCEStateStatus: UNDEFINED
It needs to be Production for jobs to match.
