yes indead there was a problem with the CA's that was not spotted
neither during the verification neither during the SR.
Indead the dates were wrong and this also included the date of the release:

Im trying to figure it out if this was an issue of the in the source
(IGTF) or an EGI release issue. Since we just make a rsync from IGTF.
