Dear psci-commers,
I'm working with the Centre for Quantum Photonics at the University of Bristol, and we're putting on Quantum in the Summer - a summer school for A-Level and first year undergraduate students on Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Technologies.
Quantum in the Summer runs 25-29 July at the University of Bristol main campus, and we're currently accepting applicants. The school gives students the opportunity to work with researchers to get unique hands on experience in conducting quantum experiments and implementing quantum technologies. Students learn about and implement the basics of quantum computing and quantum cryptography.
There's more info at the following site:

And a poster is available here:

If anyone has mailing lists that might help us reach teachers or students (nominally in the South-West) then please help us spread the word as far as your can.
Thanks for taking the time to read, and let me know if anyone would like more info.
Yours,
Nic
