Reflecting on a 25-year career in the UK TV industry, Tim Hincks will talk about TV creativity and the business of making television, from reality TV to scripted drama. From the BBC to the rise of independent production companies, Newsnight to Big Brother and the birth of Reality TV, Tim will give us unique insight into how the contemporary television landscape has changed with the rise of the independent TV sector.
This event will be chaired by Janet McCabe, lecturer in film and television studies at Birkbeck.
