This international two-day conference, in collaboration with the Warburg
Institute and the Bilderfahrzeuge, will complement the exhibition
Botticelli Reimagined. It aims to explore perceptions of Botticelli’s
artistic practice, his legacy and fame, as well as its impact and
reception from the fifteenth century to the present.
This conference has been supported by the American Friends of the V&A,
through the generosity of the Samuel H. Kress Foundation With additional
support from the Italian Cultural Institute and the Bilderfahrzeuge project
