My students did the Edexcel exam. They found the listening quite hard, but no worse than we had practised.
They thought the reading was ok and seem to have improved upon their mocks (they insisted on going through the whole paper straight afterwards so they could remember all their answers).
I had done a lot of expectation management with them prior to the exam that there would be words they did not know, as that seems to be the trend now.
