Madeline:
Although not exactly what you asked I am a great fan of the OPUS
products produced by Digital Workshop. There is a learning curve to
write your first application but thereon it I have found it ideal for
producing simple tours and adding quizzes. The latest revisions will
produce good applications that run on sub £100 Android tablets,
Their web site is http://www.digitalworkshop.com/
The full product is not that cheap although charity./education discounts
are available and the simpler product might do what you need.

Ipads could be an option but there aren't the funds to commission a branded application for the museum. Has anyone used already existing apps good for creating trails and/ or collecting and recording information and images from around the gallery? I have come across Popplet for organising ideas but has anyone used anything more flashy/ sophisticated?
