Dear all,
I am introducing myself to the world of small mammals and am beginning a reference collection for myself, retrieving dead animals when/where possible.
With the animals needing to be 'fleshy' for initial identification, I then need to obtain the skeleton somehow. So far my options are between burying or boiling the specimens. Boiling is faster and cleaner, but burying is perhaps easier. I should note that I will be carrying out this task at my workplace, thus, the method used has to pass all Health and Safety assessments faced, whilst not interfering with day-to-day activities or colleagues.
Any advice or suggestions on this matter would be most appreciated please.
Many thanks in advance,
--
