As part of a programme of activities celebrating 30 years of urban ecology
at Stave Hill Ecological Park in Docklands, SoundCamp returns to SHEP over
the first weekend in May for International Dawn Chorus Day.
We invite you to join us for a free programme of workshops, walks,
performances and discussions with Geoff Sample, Sarah Angliss, Iain Bolton,
Rob St John, Dan Stowell, Rebeka Clark and Ceri Buckmaster, who will lead
walks and workshops exploring the acoustics and ecology of the site,
especially its birdsong.
The SHED at Stave Hill will be the broadcast station for Reveil: a 24 hour
radio transmission of the sounds of daybreak, which loops the globe with
the rising sun from 5AM on Saturday.
There will be food by Leon Lewis
<https://www.facebook.com/LeonsWildFoodWalks> through the weekend, and
breakfast with tea and coffee on Sunday morning.
Please tell us you're coming. Booking is essential to camp overnight and
advisable for workshops and walks.
