With apologies to readers outside the UK
ANUMOCP XXVI (26th Annual Northern Universities Meeting on Chemical Physics (U.K.)) will be held in the Herschel Building, University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne on Tuesday July 26th, 2016. The meeting will comprise of talks from students and postdocs, as well as posters. This is an ideal opportunity for PhD students to present their work and share it with the northern U.K. university community in a relatively relaxed environment. (The concept of Northern University is loosely interpreted as anyone who can get to Newcastle-upon-Tyne for the day).
The meeting will start at 10:30, with coffee from 10am to allow for distant arrivals. We will aim to finish by 5pm.
Oral presentations should be 15 mins, with an additional 5 mins for questions and discussion. Posters should be prepared in portrait form and A0 (or equivalent) size.
The cost of attending the meeting will be £10 to cover costs for lunch and refreshments. Payment can be made on arrival on the day (cash or cheque), but we can also arrange to invoice you if you would prefer to pay against a departmental account. We are grateful to the IoP/Molecular Physics Group and the RSC/Spectroscopy and Dynamics Group for their support in making a contribution and helping us keep the cost down.
Please register in advance using the link provided below to allow for catering arrangements to be made (giving notice of any dietary requirements);
