In 1821 Humphry Davy refers to the help given him when researching at the Museum in Florence in 1814. He names Count Bardi as the director, and Professor Gazzari, and also (I think: the MS is difficult to read) Pargroni.
I have found details of Bardi, but not of Gazzari and Pargroni/Pagroni
Can listmembers help? This is towards the forthcoming OUP edition of Davy’s letters, of which I am co-editor.
thanks
