Driven by our desire to monitor what happens to refugees who are forcibly returned from Greece to Turkey, my colleague and I set up a website: http://returnwatch.org/
This website aims to be an accessible and practical tool for people to reach us after having been forcibly returned to Turkey. We seek to connect returnees to Turkey with lawyers and human rights NGOs in Turkey, as well as to document the procedures implemented by Turkish authorities. The website is also for third country nationals who will be deported from other EU members states to Turkey after the 1st of June 2016.
We need your help: Could you please inform researchers, NGOs or activists about this initiative and ask them to encourage refugees at risk of deportation to sign up. As a first step, we need to reach refugees in Greece from Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Syria.
