Dear,
Apologies for the off-topic question:
We’re establishing a protocol for calf thymus DNA (ctDNA) titrations via luminescence measurements.
We want to purchase the ctDNA form Sigma-Aldrich. However, there’s the ctDNA (type XV) or the "sodium salt" of the ctDNA (type I) available.
I wonder which one is the best choice regarding this kind of experiments, when e.g. using buffers like Tris, phosphate,..etc.?
Most papers I come accross, do not mention what ‘type' of ctDNA is used,.
Thank you very much.
Regards
Kristof
