Hi FSL users
We have acquired few pcasl dataset with a single PLD and no receiver sensitivity map. I processed those dataset using BASIL toolbox . The perfusion calibration was done using the M0 derived from ventricles from T1 registered to asl space. The steps were followed exactly per the users guide on BASIL webpage.
The grey matter CBF values for healthy young controls are in the range of 28 ml/100g/min which is significantly lower than the reported range of 40-60 ml/100g/min. White matter cbf however are in the range of 18 ml/100gm/min which is in the reported literature range.
I will appreciate if anyone can throw light on why this would be the case. Can I report these values? If yes, how do I discuss these low quantification of cbf in grey matter of healthy young controls? Also, the usual reported ratio of GM CBF is 2.5times of WM CSF doesn't hold true in my processing. Any insight into this result will also be very helpful.
Thank you for your time and help.
Regards
