Greetings, friends & colleagues!
I am writing to share details of the "Migration, Language, and Human Rights" workshops I will be leading this summer at the Expeditions Off The Beaten Track Anthropology Field School in Gozo, Malta (http://anthropologyfieldschool.org/optionalcourses/page53/index.html ). The workshops will combine hands on training in participant observation and ethnography with reading and discussion of foundational texts in linguistic and applied anthropology. Additionally, workshop participants will receive guidance in project planning and data management, linguistic and applied anthropology research methods, and recruitment of collaborators and key informants. Applications are encouraged from graduate and undergraduate students, as well as working professionals and more established scholars.
For more information about the field school and its other workshops, check out the field school website: http://anthropologyfieldschool.org/ .
Feel free to contact me directly with any questions related to the instructors or the workshop.
Sincerely,
Charles Norton
