I think the lesson here is to enter the students via A2C which I hadn't realised you could do for BTEC exams.
Thanks for your help Richard.

If you didn't enter via a2c you cannot get a edi file.......
Edexcel's response to my request below.......
Further to our conversation this morning our Customer Operations department have come back to me and advised that unfortunately they are unable to manually generate a results file for your January BTEC NQF exams. The only way you will be able to access these results is via Edexcel Online.

Hi Tracy.
I'm not sure whether you can still get a file if you didn't enter via EDI
You might need to enter them manually which is not ideal and follow the same grading conventions.
It might also be worth investigating if you can produce a csv file from Edexcel Online and asking PS helpdesk if they can import it for you.? They are normally very good that way.
Kind regards.

The entries were made on Edexcel Online so can I receive an EDI file?
I'm confused :(

Hi Tracy.
We import results via EDI and they are shown as follows;
M - L2 Merit
P - L2 Pass
P1 - L1 Pass
U
X
Unfortunately the file does not include the scores but if you want to record those, they would normally show in the "Equivalent Grade" column.
Hope that helps.
Kind regards.

Subject: Edexcel NQF BTEC January Results
Hi all
Could anyone who uses Prosolution advise on how they put the results on for the BTEC NQF January paper-based tests? The entries were made on Edexcel Online so I can't download a file to input them so is it just a case of putting them on one at a time and would you put the result as the score or L1 Pass, L2 Pass?
Many thanks
Tracy
